Franco Bourne

“an exceptionally talented Motorcycle Racer from Crook in County Durham …”

Born in 2004 and currently attending King James Academy 1st in Bishop Auckland, Franco found his love for riding at the early age of 6 and began competing with Mini Motos the following year aged just 7 years old. Winning many races on the mini bikes, he progressed to a Metrakit GP70, winning the NMRRC Championship and coming second in the Watercooled Mini Bike Championship.

Sticking with the same bikes, Franco went on to race with Cool Fab coming a respectable third in the GP70 Chamionship in 2016(?)

Franco races at Brands Hatch

March 2017 saw the arrival of his Aprilia 125 on which Franco raced at the illustrious Brands Hatch Race Circuit. Coming third place in three races and winning Rider of the Meeting, Brands Hatch was a dream come true for the young rider.

British Talent Cup

Successfully joining the British Talent Cup in 2018, Franco came 14th in the Championship with his best result being sixth place in Valencia.

British Superbikes

2019 so far has seen Franco achieve no less than 10 podium places competing in British Superbikes, coming third in the Hels Motorstar 3 Championship.
